And so, I was wrong about which stories I would continue!
I wrote new chapters for all of my active stories but Lucy, if I exclude the 3 I placed on hiatus (Cindy, Lindsey and Helen).
I mentioned in one of the first blogs I wrote in 2014 that Harmony was the story I was most likely to continue, and I did, I already wrote 3 new chapters for it.
I also managed to write 2 new chapters for Sam by skipping completely the first day at school which had me completely stumped. I want to write stories about what Sam does in his her free time, not while he she in class.
I even wrote another Suzy&Jill chapter, finishing their first filming night so that I could hopefully return to normal Suzy&Jill chapters. Of course, this means re-reading the previous 32 chapters to get me back into the story, so it might wait, or, maybe by the time you read this, a second chapter will have run (I am writing this blog on May 16th 2014, for publication on June 13th 2014.. a month in advance, something that never occurred in the past!
But I managed to write for stories I was pretty sure were abandoned, such as Phil, which finally got it’s 5th chapter written this morning, Lizzie who got 2 new chapters, finishing in a sexual cliff hanger I am free to write or skip.
I even wrote 3 new chapters for Sue, with a 4th one which should have been written in the mean time for publication this last Monday.
Even Olivia and Cathy, which I had considered done and gone, each got a new chapter with plans for more!
I even did something I had not done often: I introduced 2 new serials, bringing the total of open serials back up to 15, last seen when both Sylvana and Susanna were running.
Hum, no, wait… Sylvana’s last chapter ran on November 11th 2010, and both Sue and Phil began after that, so this is the first time I have 15 open serials (if I don’t count the occasional POV placeholder).
Sure, 3 are places on hiatus, but I might one day return to them, which is not the case for Sylvana and Susanna.
But more importantly, not only am I writing and filling the buffer faster than it empties once more, but I am having as much fun as during the summer of 2010 when I started this site.
I look at my schedule and wonder: “When can I publish this story, or that story…”.
I know I lost almost all of the 2010-2011 readers, but hopefully, I am getting new ones and I am building a foundation to keep them.
